The Slap is an 1800 Orkney croft house with flagstone floors and beams open to
the roof. It's built on one level so suitable for disabled.
The Slap is set in 6 acres of working croft land overlooking Scapa Flow, Churchill
Barriers and the island of Copinsay. Depending on what time of year you come
there will be new born lambs, ducklings and ducks, and baby chicks, and plenty of
free range eggs.
Underfloor heating.
Kitchen: Cooker, microwave, fridge, sink, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer,
working fire.
Lounge: Freeview Colour TV, DVD player, video, CD Stereo player with iPod dock,
1 double sofa bed, working fire, toys, books, CDs, DVDs, videos.
Bathroom: Sink, power shower and WC.
Bedroom: Double bed, wardrobe etc...(cot, highchair, baby bath, changing mat, if
required). TV, video recorder, hairdryer.
No smoking inside the cottage.
Electricity is extra by use of a £1 coin meter.
Baby sitting and daily maid service £5 per hour.

Pets are most welcome but
are not allowed on the

A charge of £10 per week
per per pet will be made to
cover the extra cleaning
time needed after pets
have been to stay.
