On the croft we have 10 little seaweed eating sheep.they are from the Island of North Ronaldsay were all the sheep live on the beaches eating seaweed. We also have two pigmy goats, Rosie and Cotton. If you like you can gather seaweed and feed it to the sheep, they are very tame. Puzzle the pony is 34years old this year a very old lady, but still loves to meet every one who comes to stay.If you like animals this is the place to come.PLEASE NOTE BECAUSE THIS IS A WORKING CROFT WITH LOTS OF ANIMALS, THERE CAN BE SOME ANIMAL NOISE EARLY IN THE MORNINGS. Well behaved Pets are more than welcome providing they do not go on the furniture of the cottage or mobile home, and all dog poops are cleaned up and placed in the bins provided.The sheep are all due to have their babies May 2011.         PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CHICKENS DUCKS ETC WILL BE AROUND SO DOGS NEED TO BE KEPT UNDER CONTROL, THIS IS DUE TO A DOG RUNNING LOOSE AND KILLING 1 PET DUCK AND TAKING THE FOOT OFF ANOTHER PET DUCK.THIS CAUSED A LOT OF UPSET AND DISTRESS.
